現代において、私達の暮らしに浸透しつつあるフィンランド・デザイン。その流れを紐解くと、1950-60年代がひとつのターニングポイントとなります。同年代においては、才能豊かなアーティスト・デザイナー達が数々の受賞を果たし、自国の存在感を世界に示しました。今回の催しでは、1948年から71年に発行された国内初のインテリア雑誌 Kaunis koti（日本訳：美しい家）を展示。当時の空気感を味わいつつ、目の前のアイテムに触れることができます。なお、会期中は同誌を自由に閲覧いただけます。アートやデザインに携わる方々を中心に、この催しがインスピレーションの源となることを願っております。

名古屋市内にて、北欧各地で買い付けたヴィンテージガラスや陶芸作品を販売。本質的なモノの価値を見出し、新しい持ち主に引き渡す取り組みを行う。

Unravel the Finnish Design

Finnish design is becoming more and more prevalent in our lives today. Tracing its history, the 1950s and 1960s were a turning point. During this era, talented artists and designers won numerous awards and made Finland's presence known to the world.

This pop-up will feature Kaunis koti (Beautiful Homes), the country's first interior design magazine, published between 1948 and 1971. Through the magazines and products, you will be able to experience the atmosphere of the era in which vintage items were created. You will be free to browse the magazines during the event.

We hope it will provide some inspiration, especially to those involved in art and design.
